A large group of us visited the Bengal Bear for a pre agreed set menu. Pre booking communication was great. The food was tasty and everyone had a great time! If you are in the area, I highly recommend!

Highly recommended. We had a takeaway. Very good food, especially the lamb rogan josh. Fast delivery and excellent service. Generous portion sizes and great meat to sauce ratio (something I never thought I’d type but it’s true). Had some really bad experiences with Indian restaurants in the BOA area so very happy to find a great restaurant /takeaway in the Wiltshire area. Will be ordering again.

Don't eat for a week prior to going here. The portions are definitely big. The eight of us certainly selected a wide variety of culinary delights. Could we finish the meal? Ages ranging from 17 to 70, nope, not one of us finished. The food was authentic and delicious. The staff were courteous and friendly and attentive, ensuring the experience was worth repeating. Yes, we will definitely be going back. Thanks guys, see you soon.

Was staying in the area and fancied an Indian meal. Popped into the Bengal Bear and was very impressed with the quality and taste of the two meals we ordered. Would definitely recommend the Chicken Madras and the Rogan Chicken. Bring your own alcohol if you drink as they don't have an alcohol licence.

Stayed over in Bath for a couple of days and this restaurant was recommended by a friend for authentic Indian food. Fantastic little spot which was a short drive from Bath city centre. Very quick service considering the restaurant was very busy whilst still serving flavoursome piping hot food. Well worth the visit, will come back again defo. The servers and owner of the restaurant were very pleasant, had a chat with them and they recommended a few places to visit before leaving Bath. They have a small car park right next to the restaurant.
